New World Beijing Hotel

Although the description of location sounded good, the hotel actually isn’t within comfortable walking distance of key attractions. We had a twin room - room spacious but beds were a bit narrow. Not sure why they were set up this way in other words if you have a spacious room, just provide 2 x bigger beds rather than 2 x single beds. They definitely felt like singles. Should have been 2 x big super single or double, not just single. Breakfast was a good spread but I think they can chop and change the offerings every couple of days rather than just doing the same thing everyday. For example, even the types of steam buns (which can be changed very easily) offered are the same Other than that, hotel was good, comfortable and clean.

I recently stayed at this hotel for four days and had a generally pleasant experience. However, I did notice some inconsistencies in the service. While some of the reception staff were not particularly friendly, the team at the entrance was always smiling and happy to assist. They made us feel welcomed every time we walked in. A special mention goes to the lady in the executive lounge, who truly went above and beyond. She made us feel incredibly welcome and was consistently helpful throughout our stay. Her warm and attentive service really stood out, and she deserves special recognition for her efforts. She made the executive lounge a highlight of our stay at the hotel. Overall, while there were some minor issues, the positive experiences, especially in the lounge and at the entrance, made our stay enjoyable.

We completely love the support of the staff, especially from Robin, Fisher and the other guys and girls that work in this unique place called New World Beijing Hotel. They booked taxi for us, bought tickets for visiting places and gave recommendations for local restaurants and gave us any kind of support. Robin was very kind and helpful with us for everything, and was very friendly to us. We recommend the hotel for the position also, 'cause you can reach every place in Beijing in an easy way. The room was clean and big. The breakfast and the dinner were also very good and also we found very good local food, we loved the fish cooked with tomatoes and noodles, dumplings and the cakes. We also used the swimming pool, sauna and we loved the service.

The hotel is in a very good location, a few minutes walk from the Metro station and a 30-40 minute walk from Tiananmen Square. The room was very spacious and clean, the bathroom included both a shower and a bathtub and toiletries (plus slippers and bathrobes). The bed was sper king and extremely comfortable and the curtains black out. There was a kettle available for instant coffee and tea. The staff spoke very good English and were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, with a wide variety of Asian and Western food cuisines.
